THE QUANTOCK HILLS

For those who like to walk, ride or MTB, the 9,500 acres of Quantock Hills are quite literally at the end of the garden of your dog friendly cottage. They are steeped in history, myth and legend and are staggeringly beautiful. The heathland is a mixture of vast open moorland with stunning coastal vistas and deep wooded stream laced coombes. Wildlife is in abundance. Deer, sheep and wild ponies roam freely while high in the mackerel skies birds of prey fly on the shimmering thermals. The Quantock Hills are quiet and if you see another person whilst out walking it would be a rarity.

GUEST BOOK

What can I say that has not already been said in the visitors book before us. The cottage is utterly stunning, the interior design is not only beautiful but has been carefully thought out from both a human and doggo point of view. The attention to detail is like nothing we have ever experienced in a self-catering cottage even the top end ones where we usually stay, but it is on par with a 5* luxury hotel. We have enjoyed it so much we have booked 2 trips for next year already - the dogs would have been very cross if we had not done so as they love running in the secure exercise paddocks and its lovely for us to know that they are safe and that they can not escape either from the paddocks or the cottage garden. Thank you again for a wonderful stay and see you next year. Jake & Sam, Mattie and Spike the woofers
