THE PUB
The local pub is dog friendly, and just a mile walk away down the lane from our luxury cottages. It has excellent gastro food and is warm, welcoming and everything you would want from a proper country village pub. The Plough Inn at Holford is just a mile and a half walk through pretty woodlands and the food here is proper country pub grub, and you best be very hungry because portions are huge!
With many other excellent pubs such as the Babbling Brook at Shurton who does probably the best Sunday carvery in the whole world, to the Notley Arms at Old Cleeve and not missing out the wonderful Luttural Arms in the medieval village of Dunster and the Bicknoller Inn (or as us locals call it the Bick) you will be spoilt for choice.

"This is the nicest cottage that we have stayed in. Thank you Emma & Simon for thinking of everything we needed. So often so called "dog friendly" cottages really do not seem to have been set up with dogs in mind, where as Coleridge has everything for them and for us humans. It was lovely to relax in the hot tub and the end of each day. We will certainly be back. PS you really should franchise your cottages.
