If you are looking for that truly special place to celebrate a "big" event, possibly your or your loved one's birthday or even your fur kids birthday (and don't laugh many of our woofie guests have celebrated major life events such as joining the family anniversaries or indeed their "furby-days!") or perhaps a mini-moon or a honeymoon or simply you just want to celebrate being alive and being able to enjoy time out and a much needed break - well look no further our 3 rural luxurious and secluded cottages which are set high up on Somerset's majestic hills, a place where ancient moorland meets wild Jurassic coast are the perfect and dare I say the "pawfect" place.
STAYING WITH US
Our 3 privately owned cottages provide the freedom and privacy of self catering but with the quality, attention to detail and comfort you would expect from a 5* boutique hotel. If you were staying in a top hotel you would not be doing the shopping or the cooking and you would expect to be able to have massage and beauty treatments, so why should it be any different if you are staying in a luxury romantic cottage in Somerset - at the Quantock Cottages it isn't, The choice is entirely yours. You may wish to potter around the lovely farm shops. You might want to enjoy cooking together, or you can avail yourself to some or indeed all of the "treats" below - go on you're on holiday you know you want to!

Our 3 dog friendly luxurious cottages are the perfect place to celeberate be it just 2 of you or an extened group of friends, family & fur kids. Between the 3 cottages we can sleep upto 12 humans & 9 dogs (more possible on request) For a party of 8, Coleridge & Greenway are ideal as they are adjacent to each other.

Glo-pamper provide a range of holistic massage and beauty treatments delivered and performed in the comfort of your luxury self-catering cottage. Indulge in a tailor made pampering session which is a perfect for any occasion such as a family get-together, a romantic weekend away or for some much needed "you" time. We also have a local beauty therapist who provides in cottage treatments.
LOCAL SPA DAY
Maybe you want to leave the boys/girls behind at your cottage and enjoy an indulgent day out at one of the local day spas. Elements is an award winning spa in Brigwater, comes highly recommended. It offers a wide range of day and half day spoiling massage and pampering packages.
PRIVATE CHEF EXPERIENCE
"Dineindulge" is a private chef experience that brings a new concept to the idea of hiring a private chef. The aim of their service is to make the booking process from choosing a menu to the arrival of your private chef at your cottage as easy and simple as possible. You simply choose your menu, select your date and they'll bring all the necessary ingredients, cook and serve the food and even clean up afterwards. For a more simple, wholesome countryside culinary experience, Amanda of Yellow Door Cottage can provide you with the mouth watering dishes from breakfasts to suppers for just a day or every day of your stay. All you need to do is pop your chosen goodies into the oven to warm through. At Yellow Door Cottage, everything is about the food and everything is done with love and care. They grow their own veggies and rear their own meat. They do this as naturally as possible, from ‘hand picking’ caterpillars from lettuces to feeding their pigs unwanted apples.
LUXURY FARM SHOP FOOD DELIVERY
Pyne's Of Somerset is the most wonderful traditional farm shop which has a BBQ section, Beers, Wines & Spirits, A bakery, Butchery, Deli, Fishmongers, Greengocer and Pantry. Their produce can be ordered either by email on by phone and be delivered direct to your cottage. Be sure not to miss their "Pyne's Favorites Meals" we can highly recommend these!! Why not spoil yourself by having a wonderful butcher/fishmongers box delivered to your cottage. Order steaks the size of houses, maybe a fresh lobster tickles your taste buds, or perhaps some lovely fat juicy scallops are calling you. What ever your wish Pynes will be delighted to advise you as to what is in season and will deliver to your cottage.

DOG SITTING/DOGGIE DAY CARE
Whilst pretty much everywhere in Somerset is dog friendly and this includes the beaches and the pubs. If however you want to go for a days shopping or want to have a peaceful couple of days and nights on your own, then there are local day and boarding kennels details of which are in the digital guide that you will be sent once you have booked your stay.

When you book your cottage your guest Login will have contact details of the providers so that you may contact them and make the arrangements - you know your diary and they will have theirs. For both Glo-Pamper & Dineindulge have very good websites where you book your treats online. For Dineindulge we have negotiated a 10% discount for our guests. We have just spent the most incredible time here in Somerset at the Quantock Cottages to celebrate my 40th (shhh don't tell anyone) we were expecting comfort and privacy but by goodness our cottage and the area far out exceeded our expectations which were high. The four of us loved it and the woofers are going home for a rest after all the exploring they did where as Dom and I feel rested and so relaxed after what has been a horrible last 12 months. Thank you to you all for making this birthday something that I will always remember.. and yes I know we have booked again for the same time next year so of course I will remember!
